As a teenager in the 60's Barrie attended the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair for several years with some of his buddies ..... all members of 631 Air Cadet Squadron band ..... where they ushered for the Horse Shows ..... and drank fresh apple cider by the gallon.

This seems like a wonderful event, Kathy! I especially like the Farm to Table series - love finding new recipes to incorporate the freshest of foods. Besides all that there is SO much on the agenda - HAVE FUN if you get to go!

Now this sounds like something I would certainly enjoy attending if I was up there!
The Royal Winter Fair seems to have lost some of its touch over the years.

Brian - it still is ..... I suppose there may not be as much interest from those who have outgrown their interest but they still have 340,000 people interested enough to go and or participate
